Managing Director

As Managing Director of Planet Footprint, Andrew manages a team of sustainability advisers, analysts and IT professionals to ensure the successful delivery of the Planet Footprint Service to organisations worldwide. He also has direct management of marketing and sales activities across Australia and the United states, and splits his time between his home south of Sydney, NSW, and Planet Footprint's U.S. operation in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Andrew has over 15 years experience working in the sustainability and environmental management field in both private and public sector roles. Andrew has worked extensively in Australia and the United States on a wide variety of strategic environmental management projects. In particular, prior to dedicating his time to the world of environmental scorekeeping, Andrew focused as a specialist in the development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMSs) for organisations in the mining, manufacturing and local government sectors.

Dean Jackson

Dean Jackson -

President - US Division

Since September 2009 Dean has led Planet Footprint's US operations and is now settled with his family in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is backed by an experienced team of professionals in environmental management and IT systems. Since 2006 Dean has engineered Planet Footprint’s systems from the ground up using enterprise software tools and development methodologies. He has 20 years experience in IT in the areas of business requirements analysis, application architecture and database programming. Dean remains directly involved in developing and improving Planet Footprintls systems and services, ensuring that hard-won data is turned into relevant, engaging and accurate information for Planet Footprint's clients. One aspect of his role is to work with energy and water retailers to obtain timely, accurate and consistent data for Planet Footprint’s Environmental Scorekeeping Service.
