Planet Footprint launches Property Profiling

As over 2,400 properties across the world are now subscribed to the Planet Footprint subscription service, there are excellent opportunities for you to improve your organisation's environmental performance through networking. Further to our benchmarking service, we have now introduced a property profiling feature to help you build your environmental reputation among stakeholders and facilitate networking between the more than 170 organisations subscribed to the Planet Footprint service.
As the world's only full-service independent environmental scorekeeper, we continuously measure the energy, water and greenhouse performance of a wide variety of properties such as administration buildings, leisure centres, depots and office buildings. Imagine the time and money you could save by seeing what the best performing leisure centre or administration building subscribed to the Planet Footprint service has done to improve their energy and water efficiency. Property profiling allows you to discover opportunities to improve your key properties' environmental performance as well as allowing you to share the improvements that you have made to your properties to not only other Planet Footprint subscribers but to a potential worldwide audience.
We encourage you to create a descriptive case study for each of your properties that are subscribed to the Planet Footprint service. We will manage the content of each profile and work with you to compile specific information relating to energy and water savings measures.
Using our variety of analysis tools, we will help you to identify your improving and top performing properties and the savings that have occurred for those properties. What better way to build your environmental reputation among stakeholders by outlining what actions you have taken to improve your key properties' environmental performance and how much greenhouse gas emissions (and, of course, money) you have saved by taking these actions. You can even ask us to create a special link on the Planet Footprint website (such as http://www.planetfootprint.com/YourPropertyName) which you can then link from your own organisation's website.
Property profiling helps you to identify environmental performance improvements by providing you with a list of similar properties and what actions they have taken to increase their energy and water efficiency. You will also be able to see both the 'best' performing properties in that category and also the 'most improved' properties. Based on Planet Footprint data, each similar property is clearly marked as either 'bigger/smaller' than you, 'more/less energy efficient' than you, 'more/less water efficient than you, 'cooler/hotter climate than you', so you can choose which opportunity to pursue based on how relevant it is to your property.
