• Monitor performance: We continuously measure your organization's energy, water and greenhouse performance, including consumption, costs, and emissions.  We flag potential problems for you when the trends warrant your attention (too high, too low, or if they don't change over time).  We track your performance towards meeting your targets and budgets.
   
• Report information:  We present your performance in eye-catching, independent reports that are updated continuously and made available to you online 24/7.  The information can be tailored to meet your budgeting, program and facility management needs, for planning purposes, and for funding compliance with grant related programs.
• Compare performance:  We show you quarterly performance trends over time, based on a typical history of up to 5 or 6 years. Your performance is benchmarked, nationally and internationally, with similar properties (administration buildings, libraries, pools, sports fields etc.).
• Learn from the best performers to save money and avoid waste: We not only compare you to the best and most improved. We show you what actions they implemented to achieve their results. For example, you can access detailed profiles of all aquatic centres similar to yours, and see first hand what projects they implemented to achieve cost effective improvement in energy and water performance. You can then network directly with them to learn from their experience.

How it works

Reports and data you receive

• Organisation level reports for energy, streetlights, water, fleet, waste and greenhouse. These are high level reports that show the overall performance of Council’s operations, both on its own, and compared against the performance of other local governments nationally. Organisation Footprint Reports are delivered in PDF format, and provide Council with a one-step management overview of environmental performance.
  
• Property level reports for energy and water.  These are PDF reports that show the energy and water performance of individual properties tracked over time, and benchmarked against the performance of other similar properties regionally, climatically and nationally.
  
• Account level reports for electricity, reticulated gas, bottled gas and water.  These are spreadsheets showing historical and current performance details of every single electricity, gas or water account, including consumption, costs, green power, greenhouse emissions, asset code, and management responsibility. A range of additional information can be added to the free reference columns of the spreadsheet giving you enormous power to pivot and adjust the data into reports, graphs and data specifically tailored to your needs. The data can also be adjusted at this level to allow for seamless integration with existing Council asset and financial databases, tools and systems.
  
• Anomaly reports that show a range of performance anomalies and exceptions (such as unexplained spikes in consumption) that Council can act on immediately to save money and improve performance.
