Planet Footprint invites your Council to take advantage of a limited offer to subscribe at no cost to the Planet Footprint Environmental Scorekeeping Service for Local Government.
We recently finalised a funding arrangement with the New South Wales Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water (DECCW), to enable delivery of the Planet Footprint Service to all non-subscribed NSW Councils. Under this arrangement, DECCW will cover the cost of a subscription to an adjusted Planet Footprint Service for any NSW Council that has never subscribed to Planet Footprint, which includes your Council.

Under this offer, measurement and reporting will cover the period 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2010. There is no obligation for your Council to continue with the Planet Footprint Service for reporting into 2011 and beyond. We anticipate many Councils we want to continue to reduce their energy costs so will roll their special offer subscription into a standard, ongoing financial year subscription arrangement. Note that Councils that choose to continue with Planet Footprint after the DECCW-funded subscription ends will be offered the ongoing subsciption at a discounted fee - as low as $950 plus GST per year.
