Hurstville City Council was recently awarded a grant to fund a major energy efficiency upgrade to one its largest properties. Council included Planet Footprint as a project partner in the grant application.

Through Council's subscription to the Planet Footprint scorekeeping service, Planet Footprint will be monitoring the energy consumption and costs of the site before, during and after the project. This will provide Council with a clear and objective analysis of the project outcomes.

According to Ian Curtis from Council, Planet Footprint's inclusion as independent scorekeeper for the project was a contributing factor to Council's success with its grant application.
